Sakhalin policemen lay wreaths at memorial dedicated to mothers of sons fallen

saw policemen take part in the ceremony of laying wreaths and flowers at the memorial dedicated to mothers of sons fallen during hostilities and local conflicts, at the Square of Glory in the city of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.

The event was initiated by the Sakhalin Oblast Council of the veterans of the Afghanistan war and other military hostilities. The event brought together veterans of the Oblast-based branch of the all-Russian public organization "Military Brotherhood", Sakhalin veterans of hostilities and locals conflicts, as well as Sakhalin residents whose relatives and friends have fallen in multiple wars.
